Interventions and Sober Coaching

Sober coaches, also known as recovery coaches or licensed interventionists, can help you navigate the winding road that goes along with recovery from addiction. As you probably know, life will throw some curveballs your way – and some of them can be quite challenging. However, if you have a recovery coach on your side, acting as a coach that trains and equips you for success, you’re much more apt to face those challenges without feeling the need to reach for alcohol or drugs.

Sober coaches are usually utilized in early recovery, where you’re still learning and implementing valuable recovery tools learned while in treatment. Our sober coaches are licensed and fully trained in interventions, recovery coaching, and consultation. They’ll keep you accountable, encourage you, and offer their experiences and wisdom.

Timewise, the number of hours per week your sober coach will be available for coaching varies from person to person. You may opt for several hours a week or an hour or so every day – it’s whatever suits you. If you find yourself triggered or struggling, you can call upon your sober coach and process what’s going on in a healthy way. They can also help you modify your treatment plan if necessary.

One thing is for sure – a sober coach is a valuable asset to have on your side. Those that have sober coaches and take seriously the role they play tend to have greater success in their recovery, as well as other aspects of their life.
